Based in Port Perry, the London, Ont., native has clients all across North America and the U.K. Toronto International Film Festival organizers found him through Google to restore five vintage posters from their reference library.
The posters — from Written on the Wind; Playtime; The Sorrow and the Pity; Rashomon and The Leopard — will be featured in the free Essential Cinema exhibit when the Bell Lightbox opens Sept. 12.
“I loved movies and I was fascinated by movie poster art,” says Miles, 47. “My love for movies started as a kid when my mom wanted somebody to go to the movies with. She dragged me to a lot of movies.
